Who Is under the Law in the Bible

The fact is that we have discovered that those who are obedient and separated from the Messiah are those who are under His law. 1. Consider the meaning of the phrase “by virtue of the law” in Pauline literature. 3. The believers under the Old Covenant were not “under the law.” So does the law contradict God`s promises? Certainly not! Works of the law that assume to be “under the law” are the opposite of being guided by the Spirit. But God`s Torah and God`s Spirit are not opposites. I cannot stress this enough. Everything you see in the list above about the works of the flesh is exactly what God speaks against in His Torah.

Indeed, since His Torah is His instruction, one could rightly say that this entire passage is our Father`s Torah (instructions) to His children on how to live.
